Biography[]

Before the events of the first season of "Robot Trains", he told himself that to connect the Intercontinental Railroad his friend Kay needed help and he was to be at the back of Kay. He also said that he wanted to be in the front too, but he said that it was not the time to think like that since Kay is the one with the magnetic engine and the leader, Duke had accepted that. He lives in his base albeit in the dark and his looked kind and quiet, but he also never liked working with others but he never hated Kay and the others since he never hated everyone. He and Kay finished their tough training exercise and one day in his base his computer voice said that the opening ceremony was tomorrow and he was to check his systems.

Duke said that with Kay's magnetic engine the two can open up any tunnel and after his computer voice told him that was he jealous of Kay's engine, he said that if he said "no" he would be lying but instead he said that Kay was their leader and honored to work side-by-side with him. But then at the moment a virus was detected in his system and his computer voice needed to remove the virus by forcing Duke to enter Sleep Mode with his engine being shut down but he told him that it can't do that, he needed to go to the opening ceremony and help Kay with the virus infected his engine reformatting his system with his eyes changed from grey to red making him as an evil, violent and destructive train and headed to the ceremony.

By the events of season 1 began, he was originally Kay's backup engine that assists him in building the Intercontinental Railroad. But when in the middle of the construction he betrays Kay and goes AWOL by attacking him, throwing him off the tracks and tried to steal his magnetic engine. When he returns from the tunnel he told a lie to the other trains that Kay was lost inside only to find out that the latter had survived albeit badly injuried making his lie exposed. When he told everyone that his ultimate plan was to try to take over the whole train world and realising that Kay was still alive he attacked Kay and later defeated his friends easily by his evil powers until he was defeated by a badly injuried Kay, making his plan being crashing to a halt and Duke got locked up afterwards in an underground dungeon by Jeffrey as a result.

Throughout the first season, Duke remained dormant right up to the moment where he showed signs of reawakening by hijacking Selly's training program fighting Kay, Duck and Alf inside in the process. By the events of "Duke Awakens" after regaining consciousness he then fully awakened again by escaping the dungeon interrupting the ceremony to Area V and with one big explosion he destroyed the Fountain Plaza's fountain which it used to suck up the energy, damaging the Train World main energy source when it. He later systematically attacked all of Kay's friends by wounding them again after there were no match and useless against him and then he starts up his engine and sucked up all the energy from the Fountain Plaza causing a black. He then afterwards battles Jeffrey with the former instantly destroyed and killed Jeffrey and he said to Kay that if he had given his engine nobody would've got hurt. Later after he was knocked out by Kay's super power the virus forced Duke to become super crazy and out of control and tried to absorb Kay's magnetic engine almost destroying his unconscious friend but he was ultimately defeated and his engine was shut down for good by Victor after Kay's energy had reopened the tunnel to Area V.

He was then subduded and imprisoned up once again by Alf and Duck making Duke being dormant again until it was revealed by Selly and Jeffrey that Duke needed to be treated and to be cured because his behavior that he acted very strangely along with his engine had been caused by a virus. When his friend Kay entered his conscious system Duke appeared as images right inside his memory where he was innocent all along and the virus had since not only being the victim of him but was also responsible for Duke's betrayal. He later saw Kay for saving him from the virus.

In "Kay's Unusual Training" after he was cured from the virus that infected his engine, he appears at the Fountain Plaza but the other trains are still afraid of him and needed time to regain trust again so he was helped by Kay in order to show that he was no longer evil and corrupted. He later reveals that Kay was going too fast and could get trapped in the Time Tunnel like this and by the events of "The Time Tunnel" he said that Kay needed a special type of training but despite that he came to him and told him that space time was wrapped everytime he moves and no one could see him, a few seconds later the Time Tunnel opens up causing to suck him and Duke in the process. After he rescued Kay from a different Train World in "Another World" that he was planning on training with him but never expect that to happen and return to his world with Kay and he said to him ne needed a rest.

In "Faltering Friendship" he was accused for wrecking Hawker off the tracks and taking it's enegry making everyone suspicious of him again even though that he was innocent. He later declared that they will have to keep him locked up but afterwards he see that the virus had created clones of him and told them to stop but to no avail.

After Duke was free from Becky, he arrived in Area V just in time to fight the virus clones that the virus betrayed him in the first place. He realised that Kay went to the Alpha Train's Cargo area and since Kay shouldn't do it alone he went to help him with Alf following him. He then pushed Kay forward into the Alpha Train's cargo that the forcefield prevented Kay from getting to it, but when Kay was almost there Duke's engine began overheating as he was in danger. And after Kay touched the cargo whilst absorbing all of the energy he lefts him go and then self-destructs himself in the process and he was blowed up in smithereens as a result except his engine despite Alf's warning. However thought to be dead after the virus was free from Train World, it reveals that his engine was not destroyed but rather being spared. He was rebuilt afterwards and was seen in the opening of the Intercontinental Railroad but this time, he succeeds without any interruptions.

In Season 2, his eyes were changed from grey to blue and now gains an mouth when he talks with his season 1 look being altered to have his mouth . Also, he is now portrayed as one of Train X's henchmen, mostly stealing orbs for Train X and causing mischief to all of Railworld and the four lands with Moss and Doss sometimes joining him. He once pretended to be as a shark at the Water Land Waterpark to scare the little people and Duck, eventually his shark costume was later discovered by the Railwatch. At one occasion he made friends with Victor becoming his new best friend and later joined forces with Maxie and Kay in order to stop a terrible threat in Mountain Land which was causing the whole Rail World in danger.

After the caretakers washed off all the dirt, they arrived just in time to stop the slime in the entire water park, then the caretakers give them their spare pink soap so that they can wash themselves.

In the episode "Breaking the Kay barrier", Master X gives Duke a super-speed potion so that he can defeat Kay in a new race. However, everything did not go according to plan and Duke and Kay overcome the space-time barrier and also create a supersonic superwave and they had to work together to hit the wave together before it hurt their friends. Having coped with the superwave, it would seem that everything is fine, but the action of the super-high-speed potion has not yet ended and driving at great speed up the mountain, they fly over the energy volcano and manage to grab the ledges in time and everyone who was present at the race helps them climb. This time, Kay and Duke both won the race. But Duke refuses this result and demands a rematch, stating that next time he will definitely overtake Kay and become the fastest train.

With the help of the Maxie song, everyone comes out of hypnosis.

In the episode "Now you see me, now you don't", the Trio gets an invisibility cloak with which they can steal energy balls unnoticed. However, because the cloak is too small, only Moss and Dos had to use the invisibility cloak. With the help of the invisibility cloak, they try to scare Maxie, but Maxie overcomes her fear and catching up with Mos and Dos takes away their invisibility cloak. During this event in a Windy Town, Duke stood on a mountain and watched the railers.

In the episode "Look who's talking!" Kay turns into a baby. Duke sees this, and also learns about the return energy ball, with which you can reverse the effect and turn Kay back into an adult. Duke is not going to miss the chance, he, along with Moss and Doss, run to the watchtower and find the return energy ball. Going to escape from the watchtower, they accidentally find themselves on the wrong floor. Trying to return to the last floor, the elevator accepts other passengers (Maxie and Baby Kay). The trio hides behind the elevator in a panic. While Maxie is inspecting the floor, baby Kay notices Duke with a return energy ball, baby Kay runs up to them. Duke, not knowing what to do, just puts a sign of silence. Baby Kay is not comforted by this and he begins to shed tears. Moss and Doss take the situation into their own hands and make funny faces. Kid Kay, amused by the funny faces, runs away. The trio has already got out of the watchtower, but they are attracted by a magnet and then throws them out of the watchtower at a distance, as last time (season 2, episode 7). The next day, noticing the loss of the rope, the Railwatch came to the conclusion that the naughty trio was to blame for everything. Everything is exactly going according to the plan of the X train. When Kay gets long enough Moss, Doss and Duke will return to sunny town to steal a huge shipment of energy balls. When the Trio returned with the cargo, Train X said that he would release shadow energy and rule the train world. Duke didn't like this idea because he believed that Master X needed shadow energy in order to make the train world a better place. Duke still went to the robbery, but he still didn't like it. The trio successfully picks up a huge number of Kay's wagons with energy balls. It seemed suspicious to Duke that Kay did not stop them from quietly stealing his own wagons. That's because they were fake energy balls that they brought to the base. Master X was unhappy that they had stolen fake energy balls.

In the episode "Hunting for objects", Moss, Doss and George deliver a package to the watchtower containing an invitation to the game "Hunting for objects" signed "Your mysterious friends".Apart from Victor, no one found this suspicious. Moss and Doss have no choice but to do whatever Master X says. Duke, Mos and Doss come to the watchtower. Duke is going to pick up the tools, and Moss and Doss are going to get the energy balls. While Duke is away, Mos and Doss get distracted and start jumping rope. Duke comes to them without tools, stating that he could not find them. Doss reminds of the plan, but Duke does not agree and an argument begins. During the dispute between Moss, Doss and Duke, Victor arrives at the tower and hears the entire conversation of the X family, namely that Duke is not going to carry out the plan of Master X since he is on the side of Railworld and he does not want the X train to destroy him. While the restless Trio was arguing, Victor quietly picked up all the energy balls, and later everyone from the Railwatch team finds the Trio. Duke, Moss and Doss escape from the watchtower, and Victor is given a vacation.

The railers will obey me! And no one, even Railwatch, will stop me! George finds Duke and tells Moss and Doss. Moss and Doss think that Duke is going on vacation and are going to go with him, but Duke said that he is going alone and that they will meet in a couple of days. At this time, Victor is just skating on the ice, which is starting to crack. As soon as Victor notices this, he falls down and the ice cracks harder. Victor doesn't have an emblem to summon Genie. Victor is in serious danger and starts calling for help. Duke comes to Victor's aid. He pulls him out from behind the ice and they start to relax together. Duke asks Victor why he doesn't have an emblem. Victor replied that he needed a vacation, Duke responded in kind. Duke prefers not to tell anything about what the X family is doing right now. Victor said that he could always count on his help if Duke needed it. While resting, Duke and Victor hear Moss and George. Doss can't look for Duke anymore because he's frozen. Mos is worried if they don't find Duke, then Master X will be furious. Doss doesn't understand why Master X is angry. Mos replies that the whole team must be together before Master X activates the device with shadow energy. Victor wants to know what kind of device it is with shadow energy. Duke replies that this device can harm Railworld. Victor doesn't understand why Duke is still with the X family? Duke doesn't know it himself, but he had to go back and deal with the X family. Duke, returning to the base, begins to object to the idea of Master X using shadow energy to conquer the Railworld. Moss and Doss, in fear, ask Duke to carry out the order. At this moment, Duke remembers Victor's words.Duke again refuses to comply with the order. Duke turns around and is about to leave the X family.
